Description of Dissemination Event:
Hana Bartkova and Petr Holzhauser are the main persons conducting national project POPUCH, financed under the ESF Operational Programme Prague Adaptability. This project is focused on the promotion of chemistry among the students and teachers on the Prague´s secondary schools. Project POPCH has the main objective to stimulate students to perceive chemistry as interesting and useful subject. The main activities of the project are lessons of modern chemistry conduct on the Prague secondary schools by students of the Institute of chemical technology in Prague engaged in the project POPUCH. They are teaching chemistry by using new methods, informing about chemistry in everyday life, performing amusing chemical experiments. Talented students are invited to the Institute of chemical technology in Prague to attend special practical courses in chemical laboratories. Teachers of chemistry are trained in chemistry during the summer schools.
