Description of activities carried out:

Dissemination activities
The project was presented to several schools and teachers, among them the head of a vocational school who is head of the working group "Europe in Schools". Teachers were asked whether they would like to participate.
The project was introduced to organisers and trainers of the DAA (especially working in health and food related subjects) with the aim to find DAA students willing to cooperate.
The project was introduced internally to project staff and DAA board members.

Outcomes:

The Gymnasium Nordenham (that is a model school with regard to its laboratories and chemistry collection in the federal state of Niedersachsen) will take part in the project with at least 3 teachers.
Teachers in Berlin stated their willingness to cooperate.
Note: Due to examination time in April/May (Abitur) and early vacation (June/July) we might not be able to do all interviews in the proposed time frame. However, all teacher interviews should be finished by end of August.
Adult students were found among the participants of the DAA.
DAA staff was informed about the project.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:

Goals 1-3 have been achieved.
