TBS Consulting – Sofia (http://tbsconsulting.eu/index.php) presented by its manager Zotnitsa Sotirova, declared its interest and ability to be an associated partner in the "Chemistry is all around us project". TBS Consulting more than 15 years provides professional and qualification training for adults in Bulgaria.

Aprilov National High School in Gabrovo, represented by its principal Anna Marinova was involved as an associated partner in the "Chemistry is all around us project" and a letter of interest was signed. Aprilov National High School in Gabrovo(http://www.nag-school.org/)is the first modern secular school in Bulgaria (opened 1835). Nowadays the school is of national importance and provides with high quality secondary degree education.

Burgas Prof. Assen Zlatarov University, represented by its Rector, Prof. DSc Petko Petkov declared that accept to be an associated partner in the "Chemistry is all around us project" by signing of letter of interest. Burgas Prof. Assen Zlatarov University,(http://btu.bg/) is one of the two state Universities providing specialized education in Chemical technology in Bulgaria.

Outcomes:

TBS Consulting – Sofia accepted to be project's associated partner. A letter of interest was signed.
An organization involved in secondary degree education was added as project's associated partner. A letter of interest was signed.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:

The collaboration with educational organizations in adult training will create possibilities for dissemination of project results among people interested in learning of scientific subjects after the finishing of University or high school courses.

As a part of the general educational process the secondary degree creates the basis for understanding of scientific subjects and events, in chemistry also. The involvement of Aprilov National High School will support project's activities directed to the secondary school education as an important step for students motivation.


With the involvement of the Burgas University in the project the missing part of the "educational chain" - the University education - as a necessary step in formation of adequate notion and motivation in learning of scientific subjects, particularly in chemistry, after the finishing of education.
