Eugenidio Foundation-Activities-The Cafe of Science
Eugenidio Foundation (Ίδρυμα Ευγενίδου) – Non profit organization
Series of informal lectures in which there is an open dialogue between scientists and the general public in different themes related to science. The event takes place at least three times a year and the thematic area is related with a scientific subject (not always related to Chemistry). One recent event has been related to photochemistry (26/3/2009-picture above).
The initiative aims at bringing the world of science closer to the general public.

Open dialogue between scientists and general public in a relaxed atmosphere (over cheese and wine).
Local impact (in the area of Athens)
The event uses a winner formula for scientific dissemination, however no systematic evaluation of its success is available.
