TITLE OF THE INITIATIVE:

TheoPrax

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INITIATIVE:

TheoPrax was founded in 1994 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology The goal is a practical training in schools and colleges. Theory and practice - knowledge and skills need to be learned early and practiced. The students work in groups on real jobs in the industry in this way acquiring basic knowledge and practice relevant to the professional life skills. Learning teamwork, communication, problem solving, creativity and systemic thinking are conscious products.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INITIATIVE:

To create a practice orientated opportunity for the students to learn the porfessional skills as well a to get to learn futre employers

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EVENT:

The TheoPrax economic partner for the project work type questions to TheoPrax. issues here are didactically processed and forwarded to the schools or colleges. In small groups of pupils or students those orders are now being processed. The groups are accompanied by professional project managers and only where this is necessary guided in project management. The contracting out of the business obtained by TheoPrax contact with the youth, professions are already being made public in school and the acceptance of science is reinforced by practical subjects from this area.
