TITLE OF THE INITIATIVE:

Maths and Science Projects for Primary School Students-
“this is my work”

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INITIATIVE:

With the projects produced by MEB , it is aimed that students can approach events like a scientist and produce new projects.
By working individually or in a group, students creates original products with the accompany of a counselor teacher.
Those products are evaluated by experts and best inventions are rewarded.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INITIATIVE:


The aim of this work is to train scientists that the country needs, to discover and support children who can be scientist in the future and to develop their skills, and to spread and encourage the participation and interest in scientific aimed activities.




TARGET GROUP OF THE EVENT:

This work is for 6th,7th and 8th grade students in the primary schools of MEB.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EVENT:

The produced invention projects are exhibited in science and technology centers. In this way, inventions can be seen by the interested people.

IMPACT OF THE EVENT:

Project works are periodically organized every year and the owners of the best projects are rewarded. The aim is to encourage peer students to produce new projects.

RESULTS REACHED:




Every year, many interested researchers and students are reached and they learn science by doing.

EVALUATION OF THE INITIATIVE:

In Science Camps, specialist professors give lessons and scientific products are created
