This study examines the effect of constructivist theory on achievement of science teacher 1st grade students in chemistry courses in the subject of metal and nonmetals. The students were divided into two groups; experimental (40) and control (40). Before application, both group received 25 multiple-choice questionnaires pre-test. According to the results of pre-test there was no difference between the control and experimental groups.

COMMENTS ON THIS DOCUMENT:

According to the results of the study the students who received constructivist method were more successfully than control group. The paper contains remarkable suggestions for chemistry teachers.
