They stated in their studies that the students learn chemistry subjects by memorizing, and they use their practical knowledge while they answer close-ended questions. That’s, it was stated that students appear in the learning environment without realizing the ways of getting data and what it serves for.
It was also determined in the study that students’ knowledge about basic symbols and units is insufficient.
