The study contains the analysis of a research about chemistry lessons that are conducted in the framework of constructivist learning theory
The authors of the study stated that the lesson activities that are performed based upon constructivist approach provide an increase in students’ achievements. In addition, it was observed that students participate in experiments more willingly and their concern in the experiments increases when constructivist approach was used.
The paper contains remarkable suggestions for teachers of secondary school
