In order to manufacture a jackhammer it is better to use a steel added with manganese because:

  • It has to be corrosion resistant.
  • It has to be high temperature resistant.
  • It has to be stainless.
  • Manganese is more resistant than iron.
  • Manganese makes steel resistant to extremely hard use.
