Description of Dissemination Event:

Dr. Dionysios Koulougliotis gave a 20 min talk at the Conference "Lifelong Learning of Scientific Subjects in Europe: A Common Approach for a Better Future" organized by the University of Genoa (Italy) by DCCI (Dipartimento di Chimica e Chimica Industriale). The title of the talk was "Barriers to Lifelong Learning in Chemistry: A comparative study between adult learners and chemistry teachers". In the talk the research results of the case studies carried out the initial phase of the CIAAU Project were presented.

The talk was very well received. The rigorous scientific analysis was noted by the audience. In fact, a similar talk will be given by Dr. Koulougliotis at the 7th Panhellenic Conference of Didactics of Science and New Technologies in Education to be held in Alexanthroupolis, Greece between April 15-17, 2011
