WP 3 - Development of a European Strategy for the promotion of Life Long Learning in Scientific Subjects

Objectives of activities carried out:

Survey on the present state, national strategies and other documents identifying LLL barriers and opportunities concerning interest of the Czech population to study scientific subjects, particularly chemistry.

On the basis of information recognized from the interviews, national documents and strategies concerning LLL in technical subjects, particularly in chemistry, the nation report was compiled and translated into English.
This report was sent to the Italian partner, who wrote the transnational report.

Description of activities carried out:

WP 3.1
Compiling national report that was used as first information material about this matter on the first project meeting in Genova

Creating power point presentation about the history of chemical education in the region where the Czech Republic is located. Introduction of Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague and it’s faculties, university curriculum and involvement in research projects.


Collection of all the documents, strategies and interviews in the Czech language, translation into English and compiling the National report.
Reading the transnational report and giving the feedbacks and corrections to the Italian partner.

Outcomes:

First draft of the national report
Power point presentation about the darft of this report

Transnational report, that contains the information on the project objectives concerning the particular country, it is Czech Republic.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:

The first survey helped us to orient better in the project thematic and start up work on the WP2

The work was very exhaustive but reading the final report is very interesting.
