The dissertation deals with the question at what age it is appropriate to deliver children insight into scientific issues and to intensify the scientific contents in education.

COMMENTS ON THIS DOCUMENT:

The result of the dissertation challenges that the interest in natural sciences of children in the age between 7-13 is aroused by the combination of experience and communication. The author doubts that chemical concepts can be understood at this age. This dissertation is interesting because it points out that it is necessary to accomplish substantial evaluations in this area of teaching methods.
