BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INITIATIVE:

The Girls´Day was born nine years ago and is carried out annually. Especially companies, enterprises with technical sections and formations, universities and research centers open their doors for schoolgirls.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INITIATIVE:

The objective of the initiative is to make technical careers accessible to girls. They get answers and gain insight different sections of technical jobs. Furthermore the Girls´Day calls the publics and economys attention on the excellence of girls with good education.

TARGET GROUP OF THE EVENT:

Schoolgirls and economy.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EVENT:

Workshops, events, courses.

IMPACT OF THE EVENT:

Local, regional, national impact.

RESULTS REACHED:

An increasing interest of girls in technical careers.

EVALUATION OF THE INITIATIVE:

Since the creation 2001 a more and more successfull and positive initiative.
