The Confederation offers its associated Universities continuos assistance and technical advice in order to build an educational network able to satisfy the requirements of the population.
The main objectives of the Popular Universities are in the field of non-formal education:
• to offer people of every age the possibility of attending courses about different subjects in order to increase the cultural level of italian people;
• to update the professional knowledge of in employment people;
• to facilitate the training of people who want to start a job
The site shows a long list of professors belonging to Italian Universities that collaborate with the popular Universities in order to organze different courses: only one professor teaches science, chemistry is not mentioned at all.
