The report describes the level of vocational and further training in the company. Measures are mentioned by which the company provides a permanent education of its employees. In annual performance reviews, they determine every employee’s need for professional development and further training. In addition to seminars and workshops, they offer extensive opportunities for independent learning, some of which are available worldwide via electronic media.
The report shows that despite the difficult economic environment, BASF tries to continue to offer a high level of further education opportunities for example in the training centre of Ludwigshafen.
