TITLE OF THE INITIATIVE:

Practical course in the framework of the "Lifelong Learning" 15-17 February 2010

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INITIATIVE:

The course covers Computer and IT skills for beginners and is a three-day program which includes individual speakers for each day, and individual assistants for trainees. Students are divided into pairs which are provided with library owned laptops. Trainers are employees of various departments of the library. The course includes detailed documentation and emphasis on feedback.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INITIATIVE:

The practical course is aimed at setting and improving the computer literacy of the target group of adults over 60 years.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EVENT:

3 training courses “Practical skills in computer sciences and informatics for beginners” have been held

RESULTS REACHED:

Participation in these practical courses entitles trainees to a certificate issued in their name and vouchers for free use of the Internet in the library information center, where they can practice their new skills with the help and support of center professionals.
